Proxmox VE Training
You want to make your IT infrastructure future-proof, flexible, and independent? Our Proxmox VE Training provides IT administrators with practical, hands-on expertise for the successful deployment and operation of open-source virtualization.
Your advantage is efficient management of VMs and containers. High availability in practice. mehr Perfomance & Sicherheit. a quick, practical introduction to Proxmox VE independence through open-source virtualization.
Overview
Which modules are included in the
training?
The Proxmox VE Training consists of two modules that build upon each other:
- Proxmox VE Deployment & Management provides the fundamentals for the installation, configuration, and operation of individual Proxmox VE nodes, as well as virtual machines and containers.
- Proxmox VE Clustering & Shared Storage deepens your knowledge of building and operating highly available cluster environments with shared storage, high availability, and optimized resource utilization to efficiently run scalable and resilient virtualization infrastructures.
How is the training
structured?
The training is designed to be interactive and strongly practice-oriented. Through hands-on exercises, participants work on realistic scenarios, solve specific tasks, and learn how to securely install, configure, and operate Proxmox VE according to best practices.
Who provides the
training?
As an official Proxmox Training Partner of Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH, we combine the official training content with our practical experience in building and operating modern open-source and cloud infrastructures. This creates a direct connection to real-world IT operations.

FAQs
Answers to frequently asked questions
Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE) is an open source platform based on Debian Linux that combines virtualisation and containerisation in a flexible, customisable and resource-efficient solution. The user-friendly, web-based administration interface makes it easy to use, while numerous functions are specially tailored to different company requirements. Open technology ensures a high level of compatibility with existing network and storage technologies, which facilitates integration into existing IT infrastructures.
- High availability & cluster capability: Proxmox VE supports clusters in small and medium-sized environments. In combination with the Proxmox Datacenter Manager, multiple clusters can be managed via a standardised interface. The solution is ideal for highly available on-premise infrastructures and private cloud scenarios with special security or latency requirements.
- Simple administration: The web-based management interface enables intuitive operation and efficient administration - from individual hosts to complex cluster environments. Larger environments can also be managed via API access.
- Integrated backup and storage functions: In addition to the integrated backup functions, the native integration of Ceph Storage, which ensures stability and storage resilience during operation alongside numerous other storage connections, is particularly noteworthy.
