Conditions of participation
Conditions of participation "Energy efficiency training prize draw".
This prize draw is not affiliated with LinkedIn and is not sponsored, supported or organised by LinkedIn. The recipient of the information provided by the participant is not LinkedIn, but Cloud&Heat Technologies. Cloud&Heat Technologies releases LinkedIn from any liability. Any questions, comments or complaints about the competition should be addressed directly to Cloud&Heat Technologies and not to LinkedIn.
The following conditions apply:
1 Organiser
The competition is organised by Cloud&Heat Technologies, Königsbrücker Straße 96, 01099 Dresden.
2 participants
Eligible to participate are persons who have reached the age of 18 and are resident in the Federal Republic of Germany. Employees of Cloud&Heat Technologies and their relatives are not authorised to participate. Participation via competition organisations or participation and entry services, automated entries, multiple entries (e.g. with different email addresses) and participation with falsified identities or with identities of third parties are not permitted. Participants may be required to prove their eligibility to participate in the competition. If the participants do not provide proof of eligibility within the deadline set by Cloud&Heat Technologies, Cloud&Heat Technologies reserves the right to exclude the participants from the competition.
3 Profits
The following prizes will be raffled off among all participants:
2× one participation each in our two-day training course "Energy-efficient data centres" on 9 and 10 September 2025 at our data centre in Frankfurt worth €1,620 per person - including a tour of the data centre, certificate of participation and lunch on both days. Travel and accommodation are not included in the prize.
The prize is only valid for the training course on 9 and 10 September 2025 and cannot be transferred to other dates.
4 How does participation take place?
The competition runs from 11.08.2025 to 28.08.2025 on our LinkedIn channel. Entries received after 28 August 2025 at 11:59 pm can no longer be considered.

Share the post with your own profile. Sharing must be public so that participation can be verified.
If both steps fulfil the conditions, you will automatically end up in the lottery pot.
Each person can only participate once.
A prerequisite for participation in the competition is that the conditions of participation are expressly recognised. By actively participating in the competition, in the form of fulfilling the above conditions, the conditions of participation have been recognised and accepted.
5 Determination of winners
The winner will be contacted at random on 29 August 2025 and on the same day by direct message
6 Notification of winners
The winner will be notified via LinkedIn. The winner will be contacted by direct message for the purpose of transferring the prize. Personal data will be collected for the competition: Winners must provide their full and real name (first name and surname) as well as their own email address or telephone number in case of queries. The contact details cannot be changed after the initial notification. The data will be used exclusively for the realisation of the competition and will be deleted after the end of the competition. The conditions of participation are subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.
If the winner does not respond within 3 working days of notification, the claim to the prize will lapse and a new winner will be chosen.
In the event of undeliverable contact, Cloud&Heat Technologies is not obliged to make further enquiries; in this case, there is no entitlement to the prize.
7 Exclusion of participants
Cloud&Heat Technologies reserves the right to exclude participants who provide false or incomplete information, who use unauthorised aids, who are suspected of manipulation or who violate the conditions of participation in any other way, from participation without giving reasons. If the conditions for exclusion are met, prizes may be subsequently cancelled. Cloud&Heat Technologies reserves the right to request a statement from the participant if a reason for exclusion is suspected. If the participant fails to respond within the deadline set by Cloud&Heat Technologies, Cloud&Heat Technologies reserves the right to exclude the participant from participation.
8 No transfer of profits
If it is not possible to transfer the prize to the winner (e.g. because the entitlement to the prize has lapsed due to the conditions of participation or the winner does not accept the prize), Cloud&Heat Technologies may decide at its own discretion what to do with the prize (e.g. whether the prize is awarded to another participant who has not won in accordance with these conditions of participation or whether it is not awarded and used for another competition, for example).
9 Data protection
The winner will be informed by direct message. The following data will be collected to determine the winner: Name (first name and surname), e-mail. The winner must provide this information via a private message to Cloud&Heat Technologies on the LinkedIn channel. The data transmitted by the winner will only be stored by Cloud&Heat Technologies for the duration of the competition and will be used exclusively for the realisation of the competition (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR) and deleted after the end of the competition. Data will not be passed on to third parties not involved in the realisation of the competition.
10 Exclusion of liability
Cloud&Heat Technologies accepts no responsibility for loss of data, in particular data lost during data transmission, technical defects or lost, damaged or delayed entries due to network, hardware or software problems. Any warranty claims by the winner are excluded.
11 Change/cancellation of the competition
Cloud&Heat Technologies reserves the right to change or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
In particular, Cloud&Heat Technologies is entitled to discontinue, cancel or suspend the competition if
- an attempted misuse through manipulation is detected or
- proper performance is no longer ensured, in particular in the event of hardware or software failure, program errors, computer viruses or unauthorised interventions by third parties as well as mechanical, technical or legal problems.
Cloud&Heat Technologies does not guarantee the uninterrupted and error-free technical availability of the LinkedIn post for the competition and the functions offered via it at all times.
12 Invalidity of individual clauses
Should a clause of these terms and conditions be invalid, the corresponding statutory provision shall apply and the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall remain unaffected.
13 Transfer, cash payment, legal recourse
Cash payment of the prize is not possible. Any prize claims are non-transferable. Legal recourse is excluded.
14 Consumer arbitration
We hereby inform you that Cloud&Heat Technologies does not participate in dispute resolution proceedings of a consumer arbitration board and is not obliged to do so.

16 Other
Participation in the competition is voluntary. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany is applicable. Should any of these provisions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation. Cloud&Heat Technologies reserves the right to adapt the content and information contained on this website and these conditions of participation to changes in the legal framework.
