Tarook

Tarook is an open source tool for the holistic lifecycle management of Kubernetesclusters on bare metal or OpenStackinfrastructures. It automates the deployment, management, scaling and updates of clusters and thus facilitates the operation of complex environments. The project is currently hosted by ALASCA and is CNCF-certified, which confirms interoperability with other certified Kubernetes distributions.

Tarook originally emerged from the project Yaook, which was co-founded by Cloud&Heat. We are currently still one of the main contributors and use it as a core component in our products and services, e.g. in our Compass Cloud.
