An overview of our training offer.
Our training program consists of two consecutive modules that provide a hands-on and in-depth introduction to the world of Proxmox VE.The Proxmox VE Basic module covers the fundamentals of installation, configuration, and management of the virtualization platform. Building on this, the Proxmox VE Advanced module dives into more complex topics such as high availability, storage setups, network configurations, and backup strategies. The content is based on the official curriculum of Proxmox GmbH and is enhanced with practical insights drawn from our many years of experience in building and operating open-source-based cloud infrastructures. Both modules can be booked individually or as a combined training.

Training environment:
Each participant receives their own virtual environment. Access is provided via SSH and HTTPS. For HTTPS access, a browser with SOCKS proxy functionality (through an SSH tunnel) is required – Firefox is recommended. The setup is part of the training and is explained step by step.

Lucas Trilken
DevOps Engineer | IT Architect | Open Source Enthusiast
Lucas brings over ten years of IT experience – from highly automated production environments to building the IT infrastructure of a space startup. His career began as an IT officer and is complemented by a degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on automation technology.
As a Linux/Unix engineer at Germany’s largest computer chip manufacturer, he was responsible for the backup systems of a 24/7 production line. Later, as IT lead, he helped design the infrastructure of an innovative space startup focused on satellite propulsion. Today, Lucas works as a DevOps engineer at Cloud&Heat Technologies.
